Tammy is a Yoga Nidra Instructor, Reiki Master, and Yogic Life and Emotional Wellness Coach. Tammy has a passion for all practices that are of a healing nature, that contribute to overall wellness. Through her personal journey, she discovered the profound healing in both Yoga Nidra and Reiki, and experienced first-hand the benefits of these beautiful practices. Tammy’s studies in Yogic Life Coaching have enabled her to develop classes that allow for self-reflection, promote healing and personal growth. Her teaching style allows participants to receive what it is they need in that very moment.
YOGA NIDRA - Tuesdays Sept 14 & 28
Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep is a deeply restorative, healing practice.
“1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep”:
A warm and inviting class; lights low, relaxing music plays in the background to set the stage for a blissful experience, beginning with some gentle seated stretches to unwind and prepare your body for yoga nidra.
The practice itself is done lying on your back in savasana - eyes closed, settling intwith your pillow and blanket. Once you are settled, all you need to do is let go - breathe - be - and listen, as you are guided through a deeply healing yoga nidra meditation.
