For balancing energy, flexibility and strength, Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice. This practice combines the benefits of passively holding yoga poses to work on the deep, dense (Yin) connective tissues and joints in the body, with more dynamic sequences of the (Yang) muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility.
Yin is more internal, passive and cooling. While Yang is more external, dynamic and warming.
This style of practice is very beneficial for stimulating and balancing nervous system reducing stress and anxiety. Improves flexibility and joint mobility. As well as works deeply on the connective tissues (fascia, tendons and ligaments) to correct misalignments and chronic pain areas in the body.
