Shannan has been practicing yoga since the 90s and has been facilitating group, pair and individual classes ​since 2005. Her practice stems from the Bihar tradition. She has studied yoga philosophy/ practice under various gurus (formally and informally). She is certified to teach Hatha, Hatha Vinyasa, Restorative and Ashtanga. She is also certified to teach Prenatal yoga and welcomes pregnant women to all of her classes. Shannan is passionate about making her classes accessible to people, regardless of life stage and perceived level of practice, and truly believes that each practice has the capacity to teach us something new about self, others and the world. 


All levels welcome. Prenatal welcome! Adults only.

This class will help you ease into your week. The asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) presented will vary from class-to-class, as each class will be inspired by those in attendance. Challenging, but deeply relaxing, this class weaves together various styles of yoga, yoga philosophy, asana, and breathing exercises.
