With an extensive background in competitive kayaking and an education in exercise and physical well-being, Nicole has always had a passion for health and fitness. For many years, yoga helped balance the body and mind during her high intensity training regimen. In the past five years, Nicole developed a deeper interest in yoga and in January 2018 she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Goa, India.
Yoga is the union or relationship that is built between the body, the mind and the breath. Yoga is creating space free from obstacles in your own body to live. Yoga is freedom and release. I continue to learn and practice so I can help myself and others find this internal freedom so we can all joyfully move our bodies through this life.
Nicole's classes are ashtanga inspired vinyasa classes that are open to all levels. Her classes apply traditional ancient wisdom to our contemporary western world in a comprehensive way. She aspires to enable everyone to create their own self-practice that can be done at home.
ASHTANGA INSPIRED VINYASA - Thursday 9:30-10:45
An asana sequence inspired by Ashtanga, focusing on the connection of movement to breath. Classes will include pranayama, mantra and asana. All levels are welcome.
