Katherine has a passion for helping people who feel disconnected from or unhappy in their bodies. She believes that you can create your own happiness by meeting yourself where you are and accepting, loving and nourishing your body through a yoga and meditation practice.
Born and raised in small town Newfoundland, she started practicing at University and was intrigued by the stillness it created in her busy life. After years of using yoga to overcome self doubt, body image issues and personal struggles she is now devoted to helping others feel comfortable in their bodies.
CURVY YOGA FLOW - Yoga for Every Body
Do you feel like your body is too squishy, too tired, too big, too inflexible or too sore for yoga?
It's ok - yoga is for everyone and every body. Bellies, boobs or booties - this class honours where you are and offers acceptance and body positivity. Optional assists will help you express the pose in the variation that feels good to you. We will focus on reconnecting and flowing with our body and breath.
This is not your zen master yoga. We will be listening to some jammin’ tunes, laughing and moving before we reward ourselves with a sweet 10 minute savasana (aka lie down -you deserve it)
