Estelle was born & raised in a French-speaking rural region of Québec. Movement practice has always been a part of her life. In 2002, after a few yoga classes, she was hooked & astonished by the positive changes in her body and attitude on life. In 2005, she took her first Hot Yoga Teacher’s Training in California. When she moved to Halifax, she was directed to Moksha Yoga. She completed the Moksha Teacher’s Training in Toronto in 2010 and has since taken Prenatal Teacher Training, Moksha Flow Teachers Training and attended countless other workshops & Wanderlust Festivals. In 2014, The Coast Readers Choice Award granted her top yoga instructor in Halifax.
Estelle has a deep interest for physical and mental health, she believes that yoga is for everyone & accessible to all. Her teaching is creative, fun & supports community-building.
At DYC, Estelle is excited to be teaching Prenatal and Post-Natal (Parent&Baby) Yoga Classes. Having taken & taught theses specialty classes for 6 years now she knows the many benefits these can bring to both mother and child.

HRM Parents! Join me for a Postnatal Yoga class
designed to recondition the muscles challenged by
pregnancy and childbirth. No previous yoga experience is required. Bring your babies along! Strengthen and restore your body and mind with other new moms and babies in this gentle, flowing, yoga practice. Strengthen abdominal muscles and release tension in the hips, shoulders and upper back. This Postnatal Yoga experience is the perfect balance of community, laughter, relaxation, and getting sweaty.
*Babies are welcome until they start to crawl.
RADIANCE YOGA, Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
This is Estelle’s signature one-hour yoga class. The experience is rich in exploring the quality of breath as inner spark. It starts with a sacred circle where we connect as yogi’s together in one room and beating as one heart. It beautifully introduces themes, oracle cards, symbols and stories, weaving themes into a fun yoga shape sequence. Her class is specifically design for you to play, mess up, make mistakes, and in that way learn how to really listen and claim your intuition and imagination. Estelle is queen at infusing grounding technique and mini breathing exercises you can use outside the yoga room to navigate life’s high & lows. She’ll surprise you with shaking & dancing since these are the oldest way to expand your consciousness and open your body up to your life. The hour always end with a chanting mantra that will leave you feeling stabilized, open and radiate outwards.
*PRENATAL YOGA, Wednesday 7:45-8:45pm
HRM Moms and Mammas-to-be! My BELLIES class is renowned for guiding you to connect with your body’s innate wisdom in this most auspicious time of your life. I welcome pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy. No previous yoga experience is required. This class emphasizes poses that are ideal for pregnant women, with a focus on breathing, strength, relaxation and toning. Build the courage and strength necessary during pregnancy and labour. Work on maintaining agility that will help you recover after thebirth of your baby. This class is a great way to meet other pregnant women in Dartmouth and beyond and to connect to the life growing within you. This class will leave you feeling confident, connected and strong. *Doctors approval needed before starting this class whether you are high-risk pregnancy or not.
